How to Improve Mac Screen Visibility with Accessibility Contrast Settings

To improve screen visibility on your Mac, you can adjust the display contrast via Accessibility settings:

  • Click the Apple menu  in the top left corner.
  • Select System Settings.
  • Select Accessibility from the sidebar.
  • Click Display under the Vision section.
  • Toggle on Increase contrast.
  • Adjust Display contrast slider to desired screen contrast.

This simple setting enhances readability and makes text and interface elements easier to see on macOS Ventura and later.

Good to know: Toggle off Increase contrast to return screen contract to normal.
