Customize the Tool Bar

Many Apple Applications let you customize the tool bar.  Click on View in Menu bar, select Customize the Tool Bar.   Drag any item to Tool Bar.   Drag any item out to delete.

Put Daily Email in Finder Sidebar

  1. Press Opt+Cmd+Spacebar to open Spotlight.
  2. Click + on right side.
  3. Under Kind select Other and type Mail.
  4. Click + on right side.
  5. Under Kind select Date Created and choose Today.
  6. Go to File,  Save as New Smart Folder, and give it a name of your choosing.

    Spotlight and Really Using Spotlight

    Clicking on the little magnifying icon in the far upper right of  your screen opens up Spotlight for you to enter a search term.   Pressing Option+CMD+SpaceBar opens a Spotlight search page with may more options.  On the right side press the + sign and see the possibilities!
